Enable Games to Appear on Client PCs

Overview

The ggLeap client prevents access to the Windows desktop, and any installed games on the PC will remain inaccessible to users if not configured in the web admin correctly.

Instructions

1. Go to Settings > Client configuration > Games/Apps.

2. Search for the game you want to appear on your client PCs.

3. Click the box art to enable the game. The slider should turn blue to let you know that it is activated. Make sure to click again to open the configuration menu.

4. Complete the following:

(1) Application type - Make sure that it is set to "Game".

(2) Age rating - This will prevent underage users from ever seeing this game in the client. Setting this to 0 will disregard the user's age.

(3) Tags - It will show the default tags of the game that make it easier to find in the client. You can add more by selecting tags from the drop-down list.

(4) Eligible PC groups - Select the PC group where this game can be played.

(5) Executable - Click the three dots and select "Edit launcher" to set the game's executable path.

NOTE:

We recommend that you get in touch with the ggLeap Support Team if you need to add or change the game's platform or launcher.

(6) Use Automatic License System - Enables users to borrow in-house accounts of this game. Make sure to read our article on how to create a game license pool if you have not configured it yet.

(7) Collect replay - Enable this if you want to have the game replay to be saved.

Never use parent license for this game - Applicable for centers with multiple branches. Prevents usage of the central license pool from the main branch.

5. Click on the Save button to complete the configuration.

NOTE:

Make sure to restart all your PCs after enabling games in the web admin. This will enable the ggLeap client to receive the configuration settings to allow the game to be accessible.
