📝 Enable Persistent Logging in Debian

By default, ggRock does not configure your Debian server to keep logs between reboots. This means important logs may be lost after a restart—which can make troubleshooting much harder if something goes wrong.

Let’s fix that! ✅

🔧 Set Up Persistent Logging

To ensure your logs survive reboots and shutdowns, run the following commands in your terminal:

sed -i 's/#Storage.\*/Storage=persistent/' /etc/systemd/journald.conf
systemctl restart systemd-journald.service
🖥️ Tip: You can also apply these changes using the Debian Control Panel, which is often more convenient if you're already logged in there.

With persistent logging enabled, your system will retain valuable information even after restarts—helping both you and ggCircuit support staff track down any issues more effectively. 👍

Need help verifying your logs or locating them afterward? Just let us know!
