# Final Fantasy XIV: "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.(6d)"

## How to resolve Final Fantasy XIV throwing an error when launched from ggLeap client.

We have set up 2 entries for this in the game entries if ever your center needs to enable a stand-alone client and steam version.


1. Stand Alone Version
2. Steam Version

### **Stand Alone Client**

* Set the Launcher Type to Executable
* Set the Executable path value to ***C:\windows\explorer.exe***
* Set the Additional Launch parameters to the executable path of the game's exe

### **Steam Version**

This requires the game to be setup as executable

* Set the Launcher Type to Executable
* Set the Executable path value to ***C:\windows\explorer.exe***

Make sure to reboot the PCs to apply the changes.
