๐ŸŽฎ ggLeap Arcade - Events System Guide

The Events System in ggLeap 3.0 allows center admins to create fun, rewarding activities that players can participate in while gaming at your venue. There are two types of events you can create: Challenges and Quests.

Both event types can be accessed from the ggLeap Web Admin:

๐Ÿ Getting Started

  1. Log in to the ggLeap Web Admin.
  2. Navigate to Events from the main menu.

โš”๏ธ Challenges

Challenges are competitive, point-based events. Players are ranked on a leaderboard, and Coins are awarded at the end based on final rankings.

How to Create a Challenge:

  1. Click Create Challenge.
  2. Choose a template or start from scratch.
  3. Set the scoring formula (displayed on-screen).
  4. Define the event duration (start and end date/time) ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ.
  5. Set Coin rewards for specific ranks or ranges ๐Ÿช™.
  6. Click Finish to save.

Example:

  • Top 1: 300 Coins
  • 2nd Place: 200 Coins
  • 3rd Place: 100 Coins

Players will see a leaderboard and compete for the top ranks during the active period.

๐ŸŽฏ Quests

Quests are task-based events. Players complete objectives (like "Win 3 matches in Valorant") and receive instant Coin rewards after completing the task.

How to Create a Quest:

  1. Click Create Quest.
  2. Use a template or define your own objective(s).
  3. Set how many times the task must be completed.
  4. Assign a Coin reward for completing the quest ๐Ÿช™.
  5. Define the start and end dates.
  6. Click Finish to publish.

Quests are perfect for casual participation and immediate rewards.

๐Ÿ•น๏ธ Supported Games (as of now)

  • Fortnite
  • League of Legends
  • Valorant
  • Dota 2

Support for more games may be added in the future.

๐Ÿงญ Tips

  • Events can be combined with center-specific prizes (game time, snacks, merchandise).
  • Consider running both a Challenge and Quest to appeal to competitive and casual players.
  • Keep durations short and rewards meaningful to maximize participation.
