# How to Use Wushowhide: A Quick Guide



Wushowhide is a Microsoft troubleshooting tool that allows users to manage Windows updates by hiding or showing specific updates. It is useful for preventing the installation of problematic or unwanted updates. The tool scans for available updates an

* **Download**: Obtain Wushowhide from a reliable source.
* **Run the Tool**: Double-click the downloaded `wushowhide.diagcab` file.
* **Scan for Updates**: Click "Next" to let it search for updates.
* **Select Action**: Choose "Hide updates" or "Show hidden updates".
* **Choose Updates**: Select the updates you want to hide or show.

Select those with “**- NET**”, **firmware** or **BIOS update** in the name,
