## 🔹 Step 1: Download the Latest Debian ISO

1. Go to the official Debian download page:
* \*\*👉 [https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/archive/12.11.0/amd64/iso-cd/](https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/archive/12.11.0/amd64/iso-cd/)
2. Look for the section at the bottom.

   You should see something like:

   *This is Debian 12, codenamed bookworm, netinst, for 64-bit PC (amd64)*
   `debian-12.11.0-amd64-netinst.iso`
3. Click the `.iso` filename to begin the download:

* Example: `debian-12.11.0-amd64-netinst.iso`
4. (Optional but recommended) You can also download the **SHA512SUMS** and **Signature** files to verify the integrity and authenticity of the ISO.

|| The “netinst” image is a minimal installer that fetches most packages from the internet during setup — perfect if you have a good network connection.

## 🔹 Step 2: Download Rufus (Windows only)

1. Go to the Rufus official site:
   👉\*\* [https://rufus.ie/en/](https://rufus.ie/en/)
2. Scroll to the **Download** section.
3. Click the latest version under "Download" (e.g., **Rufus 4.4** or whichever version is current).
4. Save the `.exe` file to your computer.

|| Rufus is portable — no installation required. Just double-click the .exe file to launch it.
