📥Installing the ggLeap Client

After you’ve subscribed to ggLeap, you’ll receive an email with a URL to set up your Web Administrator account. Once you create that account, you’ll be logged in automatically and ready to download the client.

1. Download the Installer

1. In the ggLeap Webadmin, navigate to Settings > Client Configuration > Download Installer

2. Save the installer (ggLeapClientSetup.exe) to your PC.

2. Run the Installer

1. Double-click the downloaded file to launch the setup.

2. If a User Account Control prompt appears, click Yes.

3. On the Welcome to ggLeap Setup screen, click Install.

4. Watch the progress bar as files are copied.

5. When Installation Complete appears, click Next >.

6. On Completing ggLeap Setup, click Finish.

3. Install WebView2 (if required)

The installer may automatically download and install the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.

4. Log In to the Client

1. At the Admin login prompt, enter your Web Admin username and password, then click Sign In.

2. The client will initialize.

5. Name Your PC & Reboot

1. When prompted, enter a PC name (e.g., PC01) and click OK.

2. You’ll be asked to reboot into shell mode—click OK.

3. After reboot, the client will run its post-reboot configuration automatically.

6. Verify Installation

• You should now see the ggLeap login screen on your gaming PC.

• In the Web Admin Dashboard, the new PC will appear under Machines.

📌 Notes

• Keep Writebacks: Ensure this option is enabled for the Machine (see Machines Manual).
• Browser: The Web Admin works best in Google Chrome.
• Windows 7: Pre-install .NET Framework 4.6.
• Login Issues: Run Windows Update if you encounter authentication errors.
