# Separating System Image from Games Images in ggRock

Description of a request to hold system and game images on separate drives or arrays.**Problem**

It may be desirable to separate System Images from Game Images in terms of the ggRock Array they are physically located on.

### **Solution**

Currently there is no scalable and stable way to separate System Images from Game Images.

### **Additional Information**

The underlying technology on which ggRock is based automatically pools drives in such a manner as to best leverage various tiers of speed and capability, meaning it is not necessary to separately manage or move data around on the arrays.
