🗑️ Uninstalling ggLeap

Follow these steps to completely remove ggLeap from your PC and prevent any issues during or after the uninstallation process.


🛠️ Step 1: Run in Admin Mode


Ensure the PC is running in Administrator Mode before uninstalling the ggLeap client.


Before proceeding, deactivate the machine in the web admin. This ensures that any previously applied Security Policies are properly removed.


❌ Step 2: End the ggLeap Process


Open Task Manager and look for clientinterface.exe.

Right-click on it and select End Task.


📝 You may find this process in both the Processes and Details tabs.


📦 Step 3: Uninstall ggLeap


You can uninstall ggLeap using either of the following methods:


  • Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program, then select ggLeap.
  • Or, use the built-in Uninstaller found in the main ggLeap installation folder.


🗑️ Step 4: Delete Residual Folders


After uninstallation, open File Explorer and remove the following folders if they exist:


C:\ggLeap
C:\ProgramData\ggFuze
C:\ProgramData\ggLeap
C:\ProgramData\ggGameIntegration


To access the ProgramData folder:


  • Open File Explorer
  • Type %programdata% into the address bar and press Enter


If these folders are not deleted , it can cause black screen issues on reboot—even if ggLeap was removed via Control Panel.
