Using the Dashboard PC graphical view


PC Status


The color of the PC node will determine the status of the PCs.


GREEN (Ready) - The PC is ready to be used.



GREEN (Ready with Salad running) - The PC is ready to be used + Salad is active.



RED (Occupied) - A user or guest is using the client PC.



BLUE (Admin) - This means that the PC is on the Windows desktop for maintenance or another administrative task.



GRAY (Off) - The PC is off or not connected to the ggLeap server.



YELLOW (Restarting) - The PC is in the process of restarting.



YELLOW (Shutting Down / Starting Up) - The PC is shutting down or is about to load the client.



ORANGE (Locked) - The PC is locked for reservation by the admin or locked by the user.



PC Menu Functions


Clicking on the node will open the menu where you can send commands to the client's PC. The functions are the same as with the PC list view.



Creating a New Layout


Creating a new layout will give you the freedom to re-arrange how your PCs will be grouped without affecting the other design created by other employees. Simply click the "layout" icon on the right side and select the "+ Add layout" button to create a new layout.



Creating a New Room


Click the "+ Add room" button on the right side to create a new room.



Moving PCs


You can click and drag PC, console, and even an entire room to different places in the layout.



Other functions in PC Graphical View



  1. This will allow you to zoom in on the PC/console layout view.
  2. This will resize the size of PC/console nodes to fit the layout.
  3. This will allow you to zoom out the PC/console layout view.
  4. If toggled (locked), this will prevent any changes from being made in the layout.
