# Whitelisted Apps Feature

|| This article explains how to whitelist applications in ggLeap Shell.

1. In the web admin, navigate to **Settings > Client Configuration > Advanced**.

2. Scroll down to the **Whitelisted Apps** section at the bottom of the Advanced page. Here, you can add the application's process name that you want to whitelist in ggLeap Shell.

|| Client applications are also automatically whitelisted by the system.
|| Please note that ggLeap will forcefully close specific applications (e.g., Steam, EA App) during user logout.
|| Even if these applications are added to the whitelist, they will still be shut down unless they are properly called through a logout startup command.
