๐๏ธ Uninstalling ggLeap
Follow these steps to completely remove ggLeap from your PC and prevent any issues during or after the uninstallation process.
๐ ๏ธ Step 1: Run in Admin Mode
Ensure the PC is running in Administrator Mode before uninstalling the ggLeap client.

โ Step 2: End the ggLeap Process
Open Task Manager and look for clientinterface.exe.
Right-click on it and select End Task.
๐ You may find this process in both the Processes and Details tabs.
๐ฆ Step 3: Uninstall ggLeap
You can uninstall ggLeap using either of the following methods:
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program, then select ggLeap.
- Or, use the built-in Uninstaller found in the main ggLeap installation folder.
๐๏ธ Step 4: Delete Residual Folders
After uninstallation, open File Explorer and remove the following folders if they exist:
C:\ggLeap
C:\ProgramData\ggFuze
C:\ProgramData\ggLeap
C:\ProgramData\ggGameIntegration
To access the ProgramData folder:
- Open File Explorer
- Type
%programdata%into the address bar and press Enter
๐ Step 5: Reinstall ggLeap
After uninstalling ggLeap and deleting the residual folders, download the installer from Web Admin > Settings > Client Config > Download Installer, then run the installer. You can also use an existing ggLeap installer if it is the version you want to deploy. The latest Alpha version is recommended when directed by support; otherwise, use the latest stable version.
If security software such as 360 blocks the ggLeap database or installer, temporarily disable it during installation or allow ggLeap through the security software, then restart the PC and verify that the client starts normally.
If the machine cannot connect to the server, it cannot be deactivated from the web admin. For an offline machine, delete it from the machine list if necessary; after reinstalling and starting ggLeap, enter the center credentials and name the machine so it can be added to the dashboard again.
